As can be seen there is a mild interstitial fibrosis in all hearts, which is slightly more pronounced in the failing hearts. At the lower left, an injection site is shown, exhibiting the formation of a scar. At the lower right, red fluorescent cell detritus and some intact fluorescing cells are shown, which were found close to the injection site.
