The histology and immunohistochemistry of the gingival tumor. a Histology. The hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stained gingival tumor tissue shows that a number of heteromorphic cells infiltrated the subepithelial mesenchyme. These presented with a medium size and a relatively consistent morphology, indicating that these tumor cells had an abundant cytoplasm, red staining and obvious heteromorphism (× 100). b Immunohistochemistry.
