Patient flow diagram. Between 2007 and 2021, we performed central repairs within 24 h for ATAAD in 218 patients included in this study. We excluded patients with intramural hematoma (n = 42), DeBakey type II (n = 24), and conventional TAR (n = 9). We retrospectively reviewed patient data from 143 patients’ medical records.
